Aaron was born and raised right here in Lubbock, Texas. He is a graduate of Coronado High School, and received his Undergraduate, Masters, and Law degrees all from Texas Tech University. He has practiced in West Texas since 2007, focusing primarily on Family Law, Criminal Defense and Civil Law. Aaron is a graduate of the prestigious Texas Criminal Defense Lawyer’s Association Trial College, and is a member of the Texas Bar Family Law and Criminal Justice sections, the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyer’s Association, and the Lubbock Criminal Defense Lawyer’s Association. He is licensed to practice in all Texas State Courts, all New Mexico State Courts, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
Bonnie was born in Rowlett, Texas. She is a graduate of Rowlett High School, and obtained her Undergraduate, Masters, and Law degrees all from Texas Tech University. She has practiced exclusively in West Texas since 2010, where she began her career working for the Lubbock County District Attorney’s Office representing Children’s Protective Services. Bonnie entered private practice with Aaron in March 2014. Bonnie’s passion is Family Law. She aggressively represents clients in highly contested divorce cases, child custody cases, enforcement actions, and cases where CPS is involved. Bonnie is licensed to practice in all Texas State Courts.
Mike is a native of San Antonio, Texas, where he was an 18-year veteran of the Bexar County Sheriff’s Department. Mike moved to Lubbock in 2006, and joined Carter & Rader in July 2010. Mike handles the day-to-day office management duties at the firm.
Holly started her career as a legal secretary in 1986, and obtained her certification as a Professional Legal Secretary in 1994. Holly joined Carter and Rader in 2019 managing civil and family client files and assisting clients through the discovery process associated with such litigation.
Jacquelyn “Jack'e” Farris joined Carter & Rader in the Spring of 2020. She has an associates degree in Paralegal Studies, and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a concentration in Criminology. Jack'e handles scheduling, criminal discovery, phone calls, and client accounting for the firm.
